I think this is Jeff Columbo's project, there's a little red flag under the roof at the start of the route. Just thought I'd say something so people are aware.

the red tag police are already on their way..better yank those draws jeff if you want to protect it from the bandits... btw, there is no red tag on the first hanger, just an orange flag underneath.

This climb still has an orange flag underneath as of 8/4/2013. It looks pretty good though.

7 years, for real? Seriously though, is this one still CLOSED as implied in the name or is it cool to climb on it? Yes I know I can climb on other routes (which I will probably do anyway) or go bolt my own, but I'm just wondering if this one has perhaps been forgotten.

Damn that was quick. Barely got to think about trying it.

Also curious why an Anon comment was the go ahead to get on a closed project...

Anonymous said on November 1st, 2016
Any climb that has been closed for 7 years is not a closed project it is an abandoned project, the only exception is if the developer is actively trying the project year after year and even then... 7 years...

There's your answer chirayam. Seemed like common sense to me but I guess you had to ask....

I mean if they can't get it same day it should be open.

No one ever suggested that chiryam so stop trying to create controversy where there is none. I'd say half a decade is enough time to send your proj or move on.

Chiyram said on November 1st, 2016
Might have to start looking for some "abandoned" projects.

For the record I'm not the type to take an anon's comment as permission, and pigsteak only humps boulders these days.

I couldn't give a shit about an FA, probably couldn't do it anyway. But getting the trolls going is always a good time, but at least I do it under my profile name.

So Brent did you and Kipp get the FA or no?

This route is now open and is called "The Warrior's Path" FA Erik Kloeker, Jeff Colombo. 2017. Suggest 5.12c, or hard 5.12b. Fun route and pretty clean, a bit of a shutdown crux 2/3's of the way up, but not too bad with the right beta, run to chains is unique movement and exciting on point.
