Directions to Fruit Wall

RRGCC
This wall is in property owned by RRGCC. Be respectful.
From the main parking area cross the creek and follow the road past two turnoffs on the left, the second of which leads to Serenity Point/Coopers Cove. Shortly after the second left a short road on the right appears which is the parking for Highlands/Corner Pocket. Continue along the main road, staying right at the fork, until another creek crossing is found. Cross the creek and walk uphill for about five minutes until the road flattens. As the road becomes steep again and more narrow look for the main trail to the left which angles sharply back toward the main wall. GPS Latitude 37.645, Longitude -83.678611

This is probably the only wall in the Miller Fork drainage worthy of bolts...

Meet me at Miller Fork and I'll show you other walls worthy of bolts. Don't worry about bringing your climbing gear. We'll just take a nice long hike deep into the woods.

clearly first anon comment was from an old crust who is afraid the world will descend on their beloved private playground. trust me, there r already 5-6 new walls boled on the property as good as anything "back there" you fellas are trying so hard to hide....try to be a bit more inclusive..pretty please.

These "old crusties" are half the reason why we have sport climbing here today. While you are the pot calling the kettle black, why don't you disclose the location of some your private crags for you and your buds. And just so you know, most people now consider you the old crusty. You think you relevant all of the sudden because you beat one 5.13 to death? Get real.

I'm pretty sure half the reason we have sport climbing is Porter. The other half is Jarrard.

Approach: take the main road on the valley floor from the parking area, passing the turn for Bowman Fork (Serenity Point/Infirmary/Deep End etc.) on your left and Miller Fork right (Highlands/Pharmacy/Corner Pocket/Monastery) on your right. Follow the right fork in the road, cross the river, passing the Graveyard trail on your left. Stay on the good road about 4-5 minutes, under a tree and up a steep hill, until you see an obvious stepped trail cutting back to the main wall on your left.
