Texas Tea - Long Wall :: Red River Gorge Online Guide

If you are just going to do this, or the next couple of routes, it is best to locate a direct approach from the road. Otherwise, hike about 250 yards right from the previous route to a large buttress. This route ascends a nice looking black dihedral on the buttress.

I could not find this climb....where is it? We did find a tall black dihedral that started 30 feet up on a ledge. Is this it? Does it have anchors?

We climbed this thing and it was awesome. If this route were closer to climbers who were not spoiled by short approaches it was be every bit as popular as Cheaper Than a Movie, Five Finger Discount, or Frenchburg Overhangs. Great route!!!!!
