This route rocked my weekend - I had to learn some bouldering moves. Maggie did some "extra" cleaning by ripping off a huge hold. Great find, Josh. BTW, nice name. ;-)

Glad you liked it. Did you crawl onto the ledge for a rest? I actually marked all the placements for the bolts and came back a week later in the evening, and with a full moon bolted the whole route and got the FA in the dark! The route name does have a double meaning though!

I crawled in there to make the move, actually. I tried it straight on the first time and it didn't work out.

I like the full leg jam. with the left foot extended into the shelf and jammed up against the roof--look mom, no hands!

cool little crux. don't worry about the bees nests, they're totally vacant. do worry about the poison ivy all around (especially for the belayer)... you're safer from it on this climb than the rightmost one.

Cleaned out two wasps nests around the cruxs, hope they stay away. Love the route once I figured out the moves after the rest :).
