Short and stays dry. The gear is tricky. Not good for a new trad leader.

With a varied rack you can find solid gear to sew it up, if know where to look. And once you get off the ground (the hardest part) you are rewarded with excellent stemming the entire length. I can see where this might scare a less-then-experienced trad climber. I didn't think it was as bad as many have lead to believe...
