Walk right from Highway Turtle into the recently burned area. Head up to the wall to the right of the buttress/pinnacle and climb a crack and face system, taking care not to pull off or place pro behind one or two small choss/death blocks. Top out and enjoy a great view of Coal Bank Hollow.

we just called it Sage Crack years ago, we were into given dogs cred for lines Hamsco was desperate enough to put up- hope the anchors helped

There weren't any anchors on this when we did it, unless we missed them. It's not really surprising that it's been done before. It wasn't great, but it was good enough to deserve a name.

I went back and removed the anchors (slings and biners on trees) a couple of months later. The death block is VERY spooky.

Pretty fun little crack, but it needs an anchor. FYI it is the middle of the 3 cracks up in this zone.
