Just left of Recoil is a similar but slightly more difficult line. Climb an easy introduction to reach a ledge where the business begins. Reach hard for the sloping right hand to mount the face then race to the chains.

Descent: Chains

good addition to the wall, similar climbing as recoil and receiver. the anchors are a bit close together and the holds lead you to the anchors of Recoil. getting off the ledge is easier for the taller folks

nice route Blake! This thing is super fun. Way sandbagged for 11c though, felt like 12a but of course it was balls hot today.

Great addition Blake. Love the boulder problem and middle section, though the ending does seem to force you to the left, when going right seems natural (like pawilkes says). Felt 11b/c to me... far cry from 12a.

Alright 11d then, especially compared to Bare Metal. For some reaosn I am on try #3 on this thing... the top is pumpy!

Great route, can't believe no one bolted it earlier. Whoever gave this one star must loathe Blake, because the route is great. 11b

A worthy addition.

Nice new addition - it'll be even more fun when is gets a little less sharp! Personally, I'd like to see the wall go 11A, 11C, 11B, 11C, 11D Centerfire is definitely as hard or harder than Recoil and misfire is harder than any of them.

the only thing i found contrived about this route was the big move out right at the first boulder problem. the end seemed to flow well, although i was just following the chalk. also, before i FLASHED this pile, ray ellington said that he believed in me. that really lifted me...all the way to the chains.

Great route, kept getting on this at the end of the day and getting shut down. Finally had to do it in the morning to clip the chains. It seems like it should be easier, but by the last couple of moves you really start to feel the burn. Move quick and be done with it.
