I am very confused how anyone could possibly consider this as 5.11. This climb is close to the same difficulty and similar style as Stain. It is close to the same quality too. It's a badass route whatever the grade. Sandbaggers.

Stop comparing everything to Stain.... you just tried that one so many times that everything feels like it now or what?

I was told that at the crux, most people traverse left 7 or 8 feet to the neighboring route, then come back diagonally right. Much nicer to simply go straight up. Maybe a v3ish move. Not sure about the comparison to stain, but going straight up through the crux felt 12a.

A really good route. I'm not sure how this grade came about, not really consistent with Red River Gorge grading. But a great addition.

Ha! You have your butthole and I have mine. BTW, did you actually climb to the top of Bromance or just comment from the ground? I'll have to ask you for some beta sometime because I'm curious if you did the double undercling maneuver or other. I did other.
