Second last route on the right side in the amphitheater of the Steep Wall. This and the route to the right share the first bolt and make for nice warm-ups. You just need to Bear Down to get to an anchor clip that is much easier than it looks from the ground.

Good route. High stick clip or share 1st bolt of route to the right. Some loose rock past the the beginning. Good rock on the upper section. Pumpy to the top. Guesstimate is 11+.

The moves up top reminded me a bit of Ale-8, but easier.

FA was by me, Janelle Anderson, and Shaun Corpron in October 2010, we rated it 5.11b, and it's called "Bear Down".

Clipping the chains is not a gimme, especially if you're hanging draws

I added a picture. It is upside down and sideways, but you can get the general idea. The route is fun after you climb through the sandy garden. It is the middle of the 3 routes on this wall. Clip the 1st bolt on the 11b and then you can easily climb back down to unclip and reduce rope drag.

Dogshit first half with some stellar climbing afterwards.
