Every newish route I've been on this season has felt like it had sharp holds. Think it's a product of the uncommonly dry weather we've had lately

I've climbed lots of new choss. This is different. Lots of iron oxide edges partially broken off. End of 4th day on didn't help. :)

Sharp holds = unforseen global climate change (drought) effects. Let's hope the rain returns to make the holds less sharp...
