This route climbs the large roof above the first pitch of Wimp Out. You can get to the roof from the base of the last pitch of Caver's Route. From the belay tree, work down and right, then up to a stance below a thin crack in the roof. Pull the roof and continue in the crack to the top.

Really fun exposed bulge. Find your feet and stay relaxed for some fun moves.

Really cool moves. At the time of the FA this was the hardest thing I'd ever onsighted, definitely on the ragged edge of my ability at the time.

This was the first 5.11 in the Gorge to be lead without toprope practice.

Uh Larry Bill Strachen Claims( Here Comes Batman 5.11c *** The first 5.11 in the Red. FA: Bill Strachan, 1978. ) Me thinks he is full of shit what do u think Larry?

I think Strachan and I are both right. He says he rehearsed Here Comes Batman on TR before the lead. Insanity was the first 5.11 on-sighted in the red.
