THIS ROUTE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO CLIMBING. This is the obvious short fingercrack to the right of the bolted route Right Turret and the manmade stone wall.
Do not disturb the manmade stone wall. Federally protected remains of a saltpeter mine.

Had to slam and wiggle just to get my fat pinky tip into the crack near the beginning. That was very entertaining! ... and the rest of the climb (albeit: not much) was sweet locks!

I heard this route is now closed (march 28, 2005) along with Right Turret do toa natural preserve @ the bottom.

As of Saturday March 26th 05 right turrnt and subatomic fingerlock were fenced off.

I know who did the first ascent of this route. It was me and Barry Bolin, sometime in the mid 70s, with one point of aid (first move). I'll check my records.

the barrier has been moved, making this and left turret appear open. anybody know anything about this?
