What are the first two bolts for?

Simply one of the coolest climbs in the gorge. Massive moves to massive holds, horizontally. Sooo cool. But you do not want to fall at the 3rd bolt. One of the best clipping holds you'll ever find though. Twinkie's next!

This route should have three stars. One of my favorite routes in the gorge and the best 11 at torrent IMO.

great bucket hauling up a steeeeeeep arete. I found it easier than most 11d's.

this is a great route. the crux can be solved many different ways and it pays to figure out which method works best for you. super super fun.

Its look like a huge hold has come off the route about half way up. Can anyone confirm this?

Yep a big hold did indeed come off but i don't think it affected the grade as it was surrounded by other big holds...

3rd bolt has enormous groundfall potential... don't blow it! the clip isn't bad, though, unless you're short.

Shiney new anchors on this now. Thanks to whoever replaced them.

Very fun route. Pretty sure there are 5 bolts. Last bolt is after you pull over the lip a couple moves before the anchor.

A large piece of rock has fallen off this route in between the 3rd and 4th bolt. I'm not sure if this will affect the grade.

Convince your partner to hang the draws and bring two longer ones for the steep section.

It feels good to work a route and send.

it seems there are only two possible outcomes from a fall at the third bolt: a hard catch, or the deck. i'm thankful i came away with only a banged up knee. seems like a great route, i'll get back on it when i'm more certain of a send
