Contrived, but fun. Going around the arete seems silly when you have to climb across the bolt line, and then come back across it to get to the same hold you can reach in two moves by going straight up. Of course, there is a straight up finish that is probably 5.8 as well, but I guess going out to the hard moves at some point is the right thing to do...
