This route, which I believe is the first obvious dihedral if you walk climbers left from the start of day tripping, actually is a great way to access the ledge which blister in the sun, scared as a virgin, quantum mechanics, cooler than kissing and tinker's toy start from. Climb the dihedral to a big ledge and belay, step right about 30 ft to the margin or the ledge and follow a thin crack to the big ledge that the routes start from. This route itself isn't bad, it looks like a wide crack but a single 4 and below was plenty to sew it up. There are also many face holds that no OW is needed. It's a bit dirty from lack of travel but the rock quality is pretty good like the rest of Eagle Point Buttress.
