Yo spray about the eliminate after you send, 5 bucks says you won't! Get a video and post the link crusty boy!

You must've thought you were still setting problems at LEF when you put this one up. Did you use all the same color holds and discuss the movement for 45 minutes after 30 minutes of foreskinrunning it? Is it good for both dwarfs (like Grumpy or Sleepy) AND giants (like the green bean guy)?

shanks.69 said on February 8th, 2020
Let the record show you were too big of a chicken to post a vid of this problem. You owe me $5.

Heyo! Just wanted to propose super fun juggy V3 with big moves at the end of the small cliff line past 'get back in the basement'. I call it 'Its a long story' here is a short video of the problem: https://photos.app.goo.gl/mZwZXvk3qvGL3WdLA
12
ray said on May 9th, 2020
That has already been done
13
SamF_0 said on May 9th, 2020
I assumed that it had, what is it actually called? It should be put up! It's a super fun problem.
14
SamF_0 said on May 9th, 2020
Also, does anyone have directions to the Mayberry area? The stoke is high.
15
SamF_0 said on May 31st, 2020
Dear Admin, have you considered adding any of this to Mountain Project? I completely respect if 'off the radar' is the mode of operation though out of preservation. Just curious to hear thoughts, could make route finding a bit easier and in one place on that app. Sincerely, fellow rock scrubber.
16
ray said on May 31st, 2020
Not really. It would get stale and a lot less curated on MP. I did create an app though called kybouldering. I may need to push an update though because I can’t remember if the last update was before we developed Walkers.

Yo are there literally any actual directions literally anywhere on this whole website? A brief description of a nearby campground isn’t really driving or hiking directions....
20
CaseyD said on July 6th, 2020
Anon, If you find the campground you've driven about 8 miles past the parking area. Do some research. The developers have been generous and published more than enough for us. Finding this treasure is relatively low effort and HIGH reward.
21

do some research? where else should i try to research it but the literal guidebook website?

I feel anon though. These guys like to mark some shit they've probably been to once and now its somehow a part of the "guide book." Misleading title, to say the least. Multiple spots where I've requested more information on and failed to be provided with any, as if they didn't want me to climb there or something. Trying to understand the thought process of not wanting anyone to know, and deciding to share it to a public source, makes my head spin. What a joke. As for directions, they're out there, it does require some navigational skills and maybe putting together a puzzle. Not sure why its so hard for someone to go out of their way to be maybe a little considerate for other people and just do the easy part of posting a little beta to the site, if you dont want to keep repeating yourself and save people some time. I mean, you took the time to record the problem and the name and the grade and all of that, why not some help for the people who aren't as developer savvy as you? Ego, probably.
24
Anonymous said on July 10th, 2020
I agree with anon it’s that classic western developer ethic: “YEA ITS AWESOME ILL SPRAY ABOUT IT AND POST A BUNCHA PICS BUT DONT U DARE ASK FOR APPROACH BETA” thought we were a bit better than that this side of the country but alas. Like would it cost anyone anything to just have that link up there in the description? Nah

Wow guys, this is upsetting. Kipp and I work our asses off to do what we can to get info up on this site (which takes a lot of coding work on my part) and to go back what is usually several months to try and dig up any info we can about a location which we have usually already moved on from developing. Usually I do my best to try and pop in some directions but it's so hard to describe sometimes that I take the mindset of "I'll get to coding the free app I'm working on to contain GPS coordinates". It's not like when we are out scrubbing boulders, cutting trees, marking trails, spending hundreds of dollars on ladders, brushes, etc. that we are thinking of recording mileage to put on this website (which I pay for). Just please do me a favor and if you ever happen to see me at an area do NOT try to talk to me or be my friend because I'd rather not have anything to do with a human being of your sort. In fact, don't even make eye contact with me please. Kipp and I are two old guys who have been married for decades so our ego has been stripped a loooong time ago. I hope you do something in your life for others one time and get criticized for not doing it properly. Now go back to your little fucking hangboard and watch Mellow videos of people that actually work to find new stone to climb.

Jesus, were people always this fucking soft or is this a recent development in climbing.
27
FatCat said on July 10th, 2020
This is probably the easiest area to find in all of Foxtown, there is a GPS pin for it too. Shouldn’t be too hard to find lol.

KewTipz said on July 11th, 2020
For y’all, ungrateful piss ant anons...For myself and a friend of mine, it took us a few minutes of research on this site and a quick google search to find adequate approach information for all the sectors. A few minutes. The developers have worked their asses off to give us what you see and to develop these climbing treasures. I understand being frustrated but do a few minutes of research before you hop on here behind an anonymous label bashing the hard work that others who came before you have done. You want some good approach beta? Go outside, find some stairs, climb the stairs. That ought to be a pretty tough climb for someone of your tiny character.
29
Anonymous said on July 12th, 2020
sorry for upsetting you but that’s a little dramatic bro I was just looking for approach beta

Anonymous said on July 13th, 2020
Dude, quit acting like anyone’s attacking your character. Nobodies denying the hard work you all put in, fellow developers can relate man, it’s all the same. Here’s a solution, maybe don’t advertise a guidebook if you’re not up to the criticism that comes with it. Suggesting a better function of a part of a guidebook/website shouldn’t rule someone out as the scum of the earth. They’re actually simply trying to improve the quality of an experience on something you’ve created! But, I will say I’ve seen on certain threads on here, (gravel gulch) to be exact, someone offering beta directions and being scolded/insulted for doing so. If you’re just “busy” why not have other people do it, and be okay with that? I’ve seen the types of attitudes and responses that come from outside sources, it’s not always appreciated.
31
ray said on July 13th, 2020
Hilarious. Actually, calling someone egotistical is attacking their character. Please make a guidebook if you feel we’re not doing a well enough job. I’ve always considered my site to be a rough cut and something to build on for “real” guidebooks. Same goes for the Red River Gorge guidebooks. You must be new around here.
32

my comment about ego was more aimed at the chucklefucks coming out the woodwork to speak in riddles and tell people to register for the fall semester at NKU if they want the opportunity to research on JSTOR where the parking lot is. it’s not character assassination to be curious as to why a guidebook seems to intentionally omit very basic directions
