Thanks Patrick...looking forward to Saturday. For any others interested my son and I plan to also climb this Sunday and maybe Monday early. Still looking for partners those days if you'll have us, and I can help lead belay as well. Thanks!

Hiked around Carter Caves for first time today. On one of the trails came across some signs about an "approved" climbing area with set of steps leading down, but top rope only with not bolted routes. Me and my 9 yr old son are planning to climb somewhere at the gorge this weekend, July 15/16th. We've climbed at Muir valley couple times in past.
