I used to climb year round and have just recently converted to the "seasonal" mindset. I gotta say, it has it's advantages. By training and getting stronger it has opened up a whole lot more of the gorge to me as far as routes I am able to get on. Also, it is nice to spend the summer not driving dow...

Hey rrgclimber, I appreciate your vigilance policing our crags. If we had more concerned climbers like yourself we may not be experiencing some of the closures we are enduring right now. What about reverse wrist curls, push-ups, and other push exercises to help balance the muscles. Does anybody use these and if so do you find them beneficial?

It's OK at best. For the area it is alright but I wouldn't waste alot of time driving to get there. There are much better choices in the Hocking Hills area, most are on private property.

Maybe we could hold everybody's hand and walk them to the cliff. As we are walking hand in hand we could explain to them that they are outside and there may be snakes, bees and wasps waiting to harm them.
