Re: Rebolting Effort Details - Yank the Mank!

I appreciate everyone's efforts in re-bolting and removing mank, however please DO NOT rebolt my routes. I will take care of it myself.

Re: Bolting question

I have done it. Anchors on Convicted, on Loosen up, Fuzzy... Rick Weber pull tested these and they failed not as high as the Titt bolts, but I believe they failed much higher that Rawl 5 piece. What I did was buy a long piece of SS all thread ( 6 foot) and cut it to 6 in pieces and beveled the ends...

I will. I have my draws on the high hard one. Once I do the thing I'm taking them down. I took bad gear off res ansd replaced it before I did that route last week. I guess I should have stripped the rest of it as well. Maybe I will. I'm not psyched on stealing anyone's draws but since you mention i...

Yeah you're right ... let's start stripping the madness. That'll minimize traffic for certain. I'm confused though on the people who support stripping draws, yet go up to the Lode and Darkside to climb on the pre-placed draws. I have yet to see anyone take down draws and put up their own. Set the e...

...I understand that you have only the best intentions. I hope that you don't misunderstand what I am saying. The goal of leaving all these routes in a safe state is noble. I think that the only way to truly achieve this goal is to remove fixed draws and concentrate on maintaining just the bolts and...

A lot of you are going to think that I am just saying this to be an asshole but here is my two cents. This is stupid idea. Fixed gear sucks. I think that we should go back to the time when if you wanted to do a route you climbed it with your draws and then you cleaned them, or maybe you left them fo...

My place is a bit off the beaten path (G-town) but if you all can stand the stench I'm in.

Re: more signs....

You memorize the latest drivel published in Carbondale and delivered to your mailbox every month. Anyone read that Alex Honnold, Rookie of the Year in the latest Climbing Magazine, repeated Fiddler on the Roof in less than an hour? I'm a Jer  I prefer to believe that you read that online man.

more signs....

You've perved Horatio's list for signs in yourself that you are....gasp!... a jerry. You've downloaded Troopmaster Weber's bolting and cleaning manuals, printed, laminated, and bound them for inclusion with the rest of your Jerry gear. You have no problem carrying the extra load in your Black Diamon...
