Inversion!!
Any routes in the red where the beta is to go inverted with heel toe for a significant portion? I don't make it to Vedauwoo that often.

Dunkan Rock Trail
I was out at Dunkan Rock this past weekend and found a campsite on the sub-cliff on top of Frenchburg Overhangs. I could also hear people above us as we climbed on the Beene cracks. Does anyone have any info on a trail that would take you to the top of Dunkan rock? I looked at the USGS maps, but the...

Reporting Bad Bolts
I was on McCoy at Rival wall this past weekend and bolt hangers # 3 and 4 (section between the two block/mantel moves) both have a significant amount of surface rust, as well as very rusted nuts. I'd like to make a donation to whomever is most active in replacing/repairing fixed hardware, and ask th...

Crack Training
I just spent a few days in Indian Creek which was just enough time to realize how bad I am at sustained wide-fingers and thin-hands climbing. One or two moves of ratchets/stacks, no problem, but 120 feet of 5.10- green Camalots? No way! What routes in the Red are the most splitter finger/off-finger/...

Re: Brownie Bake-off 2012
Bump to ask everyone to spread the word about the bownie bake-off.
Aside from having a cool grand-prize, it's a small way we can all give back to the community and continue to make Rocktoberfest the best damned climbing event around.

Brownie Bake-off 2012
Get out your mixing bowls, aprons, and Grandma's secret recipe 'cause we're bringing back The Brownie Bake-Off to Rocktoberfest 2012. The rules are simple: 1. Bake delicious brownies. Enough to share. 2. Drop them at the festival site Saturday before dinner. This will need to be done before dinner i...

Co-Op Question
Has anyone here ever been involved in the founding of a climbing co-op that rented space? I'm curious what the insurance liability issues you had to resolve were and what type of legal council you needed to consult. I would imagine that this would have at least some legal difference than a for-profi...

Re: 1st Ever Rocktoberfest Brownie Bake Off
The competition will actually be mostly baked-good agnostic. Cookies ARE allowed (pies and cakes not, due to difficulties serving). Brownie Bake Off just had a ring to it.

Re: 1st Ever Rocktoberfest Brownie Bake Off
Only 3 days! I also wanted to clarify 1 point: there is NOT a fee to enter the Brownie Bake Off. However, you DO need to bring an entire pan of brownies to enter in the competition (equivalent to an entire 13x9x2 in pan).

B&T Dinner @ Rocktoberfest 2011
A quick plea to all of you who are Rocktoberfest bound this year..
PLEASE bring your own bowl and spoon to the dinner on Saturday. PLEASE tell your friends to do the same. PLEASE haze those who show up and use foam bowls. The citizens of the earth collectively thank you in advance, 'cause you rock.

Re: 1st Ever Rocktoberfest Brownie Bake Off
Only 5 days left y'all. FYI, there will be a schwag grand prize for the tastiest entry. If you've been to Rocktoberfest before, you know the coalition gives damned good prizes. Plus you're helping to spread goodwill and chocolate amongst your fellow climbers. Do you even need more of a reason than t...

Re: 1st Ever Rocktoberfest Brownie Bake Off
Bump! Less than two weeks to go! I'm sure your friends won't mind if you practice your recipes on them in advance of the contest.
