I think I may have had the same injury. Does normal bending your finger backwards hurt (putting your hand in your pocket)?

Yeah... I bolted the route back in the spring/summer of 2011. I had looked at bolting this line for a few weeks before I bolted the line. I enjoy climbing slab climbs regardless of the grade. The Lode is a great cliff but subjectively lacking in slab climbs and easier warm ups. Most people climbing ...

I agree with aid climbing. Make sure you look down and away when bounce testing a piece, in case it pops out. It's not a bad idea to wear glasses also.
