Re: Miller Fork Climbing Guidebook 1st Edition

We created a Facebook page to write reviews, post bolt count corrections (if the online guidebook doesn't work for ya...), etc. Would appreciate any reviews! Thanks! https://www.facebook.com/millerforkclimbing/

Re: Miller Fork Climbing Guidebook 1st Edition

Very cool of you to take the time to offer feedback. Much appreciated! We took some risks and honestly didn't know if folks would love it or hate it. Any bolt count errors may be sent to [email protected].com. Please don't hesitate to let us know! As for hiking directions, that's a moving ...

Re: Miller Fork Climbing Guidebook 1st Edition

Thanks so much for the positive feedback! Means a lot. We put a lot of effort into doing something different and didn't know if folks would love it or hate it. Have folks noticed the coupons to local businesses in the back? Great savings back there and the book pays for itself if they're used. Reali...

Thanks for the map and guidebook feedback! You all are awesome!!! We're super excited to do something new with this guidebook. Re: Miller Fork guidebook preview and sample!

Thanks for the positive feedback! It means a lot! :) As for that crazy formation....I honestly don't know but I thought the same thing. Here's a pic from an aerial photo so something is there for sure. Mountain top removal maybe? The terrain is called a DEM (digital elevation model) and is developed...

Re: Miller Fork guidebook preview and sample!

Thanks Josephine! We'll start taking orders in the summer. We're planning to go to press in July. Thanks Spike! Those maps have been fun to make. It's pretty exciting watching the 3D model take shape as more and more GPS data is collected. As far as a cheap black/white guidebook, the online guideboo...

Re: Who would volunteer to save the hemlocks?

Shannon, I work at UK and they successfully treated their hemlock trees maybe about three years back now (at least I think it was successful?). I can speak with our Grounds department if you want and ask any questions you need if you think that would be helpful.
