I've been to this area some... I think the above pic might be on private property but the hemlock cliffs area is on NFS land and is legal for trad/bouldering. The closure areas are around a waterfall and don't seem all that good for climbing anyway, think it is mostly to stop the rappellers. I have ...

Unless you are like Mr. Guidebook (thanks again btw for my climbing bible) and have spent years trying to climb EVE...

Eastern US Bouldering

I have never been on a bouldering trip before and was wondering what the decent destinations were in the eastern US. I have checked out rocktown and hp40 online but have heard other names mentioned on here that have been difficult to get good information about. Distance from Louisville is a factor a...

Go climb Should've Known Better at Solar Collector/Gold Coast and you will understand choss. On the other hand, most of the 0 star routes I have climbed, while I wouldn't go out of my way, if I was already at the cliff with some free time I would climb them again. Some people complain too much...at ...

some out there try to disguise their ability behind a number This reminds me of the whole, 'can you climb a 5.x or are you a 5.x climber' discussion. I'm assuming one's dream grade does not mean grade at which you are a solid well rounded climber, but the grade of your hardest sends in the style yo...

Just keep climbing. Outside, gym, wherever. Climb as much as you can and watch out for overuse injuries. If that doesn't give you your fix, I have seen some books by eric horst that looked pretty good.
