I most often happens when the top biner is clipped with the gate facing the the head of the bolt. Sometimes when it is clipped like this and the climber moves above the bolt, the rope will pull (rotate) the draw around. As the draw rotates around the gate comes in contact with the bolt head, pushing...

It was really awesome sandstone, but the problem quality was lacking. What I was saying in response to Ultra was that since...

No, Triassic blows. It was just pissin' rain in Joe's, so we didn't even get to climb there. If you were in the area though, Lil' Cottonwood looks rad.

I wish they'd start selling a Gravy drink. You could just call it Pork Soda and get Primus to do a jingle! Ooo Ooo! or a Lipo/feeding tube unit. They could just hook you up to an IV that sucked the lard straight out your ass and keep you going. For times when the Welfare office is giving you...

When did the poor become fat? Ma and Pa Kettle were rail thin, all photos I've seen of the depression....walking skeletons. When did being poor become an excuse to lose self-respect. Shit, I grew up poorer than a lot of people but we still ate healthy balanced meals.

Drinks high in sugar cause weight gain? In other breaking news, the sky is blue. Dhoyne made the perfect statement there. Who doesn't know that sodas are NOT good for you? Please, that's half the beverage companies ad strategy towards kids. "Drink "Fat Bottom Cola", the crap you know you shouldn't ...

I think that when these obese, bastard children die of juvenile diabetes they should be deep fried and force fed to their spineless parents who couldn't say "No!" when their brats were rolling around kicking and screaming in the grocery store. When I was a lad in school, there were like 2 fat kids o...

Lemonade contains around the same amount of sugar as energy drinks and is also carbonated but it contains no caffeine unlike cola drinks.
What kind of lemonade are they drinking?

That wolf spider is still in your cabin Stacy. I had to ask him to scoot over one night as he was hogging all the covers. But he was nice enough to make coffee and oatmeal the next morning.

That magazine is the epitome of commercializing the outdoors. It's like a bunch of manufacturers got together and made a magazine so they could get people not only to buy some tripe publication, but also their merchandise. Garbage! I thought Climbing and R&I were getting bad.
