Re: Terry

Terry was one of the nicest and most unique people I had ever met. Taught me a TON about climbing.....and how to properly express an opinion! :)

Re: RRG Test Pieces - 12a,b,c,d

Ah, just like the good ol days! It's funny tho, because for as many new great routes that have gone up since I've been gone, I'm still seeing lots of classic names pop up on people's lists. Wangsaw Massacre, Steelwacker, BMT, etc. I guess there's a reason they call em classics! I guess if you wanted...

Re: lateral epicondylitis

But wait, if you have "lateral" ec, wouldn't climbing help that? I always fought medial ec.

Re: lateral epicondylitis

Start sucking down the Vitamin-I and lay off of it (or keep climbing/training and just try to manage it during the season by working antagonistic muscle groups). That was the only thing I could find hat would even come close to working. I hear deep tissue massage works tho.

I just started doing bench presses, shoulder presses, and dips again. Combined with some rest and VERY light climbing, my tendonitis went away in no time.

You have limits placed on your strength which are predetermined by your genetics (as mentioned above). Will you ever EVER get there...doubtful. Hardly anyone reaches their genetic potential in any aspect of their physical development. They may think they do, but in reality, they could get a LOT stro...

Climb at 50 degrees on half pad edges. Throw in plenty of deadpoints to said edges. Mix that in with a bunch of lock-offs on monos and VOILA!, there is your rehab training regimen! :D

All of this talk about being injured reminds me of a time, long ago, when men were men and the sheep were nervous.....

Wow, what a bunch of boke down old climbers! :D What happened to the days of rubbing some dirt on your wounds to soak up the blood and drinking a fifth of whiskey to dull the pain while you were climbing? The other day, I was on a climb (yes, I still climb outside SOMETIMES) and I broke my damn pelv...

Yes Meadows, it's true. I have spent countless hours renaming most of the cliffs. Unfortunately, not enough people appreciate true artistic creativity and want to follow in my path and support my renaming of these cliffs using these sacred monikers which I have lovingly bestowed upon them. It's a sa...

Jason Kehl may have a cool haircut, but he wasn't named after some kind of crazy rope ladder. You just can't top that.
