Re: Country=Stupid

Whatahutch, there is prejudice deeply rooted in our culture and in people's general state of mind. You know that already. You don't need to make some silly poll like this to prove it for you. And I don't know if it gets to you, but if it does then I recommend deciding to not let it affect you at all.

So I guess we're done giving/receiving advice about .11a's then. This shit show of a thread started of as something somewhat legitimate. Is the original poster actually upset? If so, there's really no reason to let these guys get you riled up. They have a somewhat twisted way of having fun; just let...

I hope you don't get down on yourself for not pulling down super hard; climbing .12 and up requires way more dedication and discipline than most are willing to put into it. Anyway, all the .10 sport routes at drive-by are good.

Yeah, backstepping is key in big crossover moves. Drop the knee and twist the hips.

Neither has hard moves. Twinkie's slab isn't hard, just some weird disgustingly chalky/polished holds. Ro is nothing but huge holds. I don't see (unless you have a terrible belayer) how you could have a nasty fall on either one of these once you get the first one or two bolts clipped.

Nothing as it Seams

That's just one I named at the gym that went up a little artificial seam. I thought it was pretty clever.

Damn, guys, I was just trying to let people know there's a comp coming up. How is it that every thread on here results in people talking shit to each other?

No toprope or lead. But just because the walls aren't too good for bouldering doesn't mean I (and a few other fine route setters) can't still set some kick-ass problems. I think it'd be worth it to come check it out.

It's very simple: Global warming. All the carbon dioxide we're producing is to blame. If we just pay a tax on every molecule of CO2 we emit, then the world will stop heating...I mean cooling...I mean, you know, irreversible climate change or whatever the popular fallacy is at the moment.

That's it! The ultimate training: routes with loose holds and no feet. That will get everyone pulling ten times harder in no time.
