No, you're right. It was shoddy for sure and he deserved to be called out as such. It was definitely shitty belaying and he should have been standing where he could see the guy and where he was at on the route.

No worries. I know how that feels to lose a stick clip. It sucks! I left mine at Funk Rock and this guy took it. I ended up figuring out who it was and confronted him at Miguels a day after I left it there. It was super annoying to have to hunt him down and ask for it. It would have been way cooler ...

I found that stick clip at the Lode and put it against that tree. When we came back after the day was done and it was still there, I brought it back to Miguel's and gave it to the front desk. If you call them, they should have it.
