Yes, Miguel's now sells beer. Decent price.
There is also a new sign saying "no outside alcohol allowed". Not sure how this is enforced.

Re: New Bolting Hardware?
There falling out because people are too lazy to ever tighten a loose bolt, repeatedly. There have been literally at least 3000 placed now. This would largely be a none issue if people could keep a 9/16th wrench and tighten them. Also, bolts weren't being re-torqued and I suspect many not torqued t...

Have you looked in the online guidebook?
50-100 feet left of Da Vinci's left Ear sounds like Banksy, 12c. And I do remember some permas on it. But who knows... maybe someone bolted something next to it?

Re: Is this going to be in the online guidebook anytime soon
The only guidebook you need for that area is the King James edition Holy Bible Well it's not like there wasn't a big sign telling us to "let's study Bible only, no special translations or creeds" hanging on Rt 11-498 turnoff for years. So you are probably right. But for the heathens, looks like the...

Re: RRG Whipper videos on Rock and Ice website
"While cleaning" is misleading... You didn't watch that video, did you? (the guy fell when a large foothold broke off, and he called it ' cleaning a new route')
But yeah, I was just thinking that RRG seems disproportionately represented in the weekend whipper videos.

Re: Does This One Make It Five Guidebooks?
Yep... In order to have everything you have to at least have the North, South and Miller which sucks. I was okay with two required Guidebook, but Three? Come on. Though the Miller guidebook is awesome. I like the new South guidebook, too! But now the guidebook junkie part of my brain wants to get t...

hey Mike-thanks for sharing the link. I hope I didn't offend anyone, I'm glad they're ok with posting the video and letting others learn from the experience. I can't recall the climb that well, but in the video he wasn't clipping the next bolt, was he? I can maybe see getting 5 feet from the ground...

Hey, anyone knows what is the nonprofit tax ID # for RRGCC? Is it the same EIN that was on Rocktoberfest registration receipt? I just found out that my husband's employer does matching contributions to non-profits, since we are planning to donate, there is no point leaving good money unused.

Re: Motherlode Hill
Sedan lost part of it's undercarriage on Saturday trying to make it out of Sore Heel. Didn't make it up the Lode. My guess is the driver didn't care to take the 4X4 warning signs seriously. Did a good job tearing up both roads though, the dirt under the gravel was clearly visible through the dust c...
