The problem with Low Calorie Diets is that your body will easily go into 'starvation mode' and not loose any weight. At 180lbs, you need (I am estimating) at least 2500 calories to just maintain your weight for an active person. To lose weight from that point, you would either up your exercise, or d...

I think the best all around - sport, trad, bouldering, big wall is Tommy Caldwell by a long stretch.

Now, when you put in Ice, mixed and alpine, I am unsure. Will Gadd is pretty freakishly strong but I don't know how he does with the bouldering etc.

I'm sure it is probably a European though.

Congrats!

I had my baby in February, and she has been coming to the cliff with my husband and I since. All of the climbing 'aunts' and 'uncles' are great! No need to stay home just because a bambino is around!

Thanks guys!!! I don't feel like I look that good with the extra weight, but it is all for a great cause! It is fantastic. Don't let me fool you though, it is a lot more work! The huffing and puffing I do with the extra weight and decreased lung capacity, and the inability to step in front of my bel...

My hubby is awesome, and definately mentally sound! :) hehe. Yeah Artsay, your pictures are so good. I love how many of them have only one or two people in focus and others blurred, and how moments were captured. Some awesome memories. did you get any videos done? Thanks Dipsi! It was the best day ever!!! Gorgeous weather, amazing friends, good food/drink. It ended with a huge bonfire and everyone camping out on the island where there are no facilities at all (even my 73 year old father slept in a tent and some of our friends who have never peed outside staye...

If my husband wasn't a climber, I wouldn't have married him. We'd never see each other if not. all our weekends are either on rock or ice and our vacations from work are to great places like Red Rocks, the Gunks or other climbing destinations. Thailand is in the cards for next fall. I don't think yo...

I use quick Cobbler in Vancouver. If you are out west and need your shoes done, this is the place. I have mine back in about 5 days shipping time included. they are an authorized 5.10 resoler.
