Re: Hanging the Draws vs. Hung Draws
I believe the weight thing is kind of trivial... I've taken pre red point shits that weigh more that 6 draws (it's not like your carrying a full trad rack with you)... The extra move to hang the draw is what I believe makes a route (at or close to your red point limit) feel more difficult...

Re: Linville Gorge Pop up
I think the Main camp area has drive in spots... I'm not positive about this though if not I know it has a parking lot and I'm sure you could set up there... The main parking area is still a bit of a trek from the main crags however... and some of them can be hard to find (prepare for bushwhacking)...

Re: Notice to Tradies
It would be cool to put some anchors on TNT... that thing is sweet, and I remember the tat on the boulder being really bad...

Re: Notice to Tradies
I don't know if they have already been replaced but the last time we were up on Scratch Your Face they were kind of bad, those are the ones that made me originally think of Fortress... If there is another crag that needs more attention I would be down to put in some time anywhere...

Re: Favorite Easy Trad Route?
as others have offered, Diamond in the Crack is a great beginner route... I think you could surpass using most of the crack... If you have done BFB you could defiantly do DITC and then get some one to second it...

My girlfriend wants to sell her Evolv defy's, Size 6.5. They are very lightly used (maybe 15 pitches). $50 or PM me other offers. Could exchange in the Lexington area.

Day tripping is defiantly on my list, as soon as I get back from Denver...
