Re: Hanging the Draws vs. Hung Draws
as the grade goes up the cost of hanging the draws on send also goes up. My instinct on this is no. My guess is it is related to the climber not the grade. For example. Adam Ondra onsights at very high level but he is willing to give it a go hanging draws. If the high grade made it too difficult fo...

Re: Road damaged in MFRP
If you're talking about the approach off of Tip Top Road, the 2 creek crossings have been graded so the banks are gentle and the water depth is not bad. The crossings after the parking lot are still deep. If you don't have high clearance 4wd, either park at the parking lot or bring the phone number...

Re: Road damaged in MFRP
What is the status on the Hell Creek road? Specifically the two creek crossings for the "back way" to Miller Fork.

Re: Bolts
Thank you for the 8 votes. 50/50 is about what I would have guessed. Shrug.
Bolts
I realize that beauty is in the eye of beholder. So it is not surprising that there is a wide variety in opinions on route quality..... I guess my question is. Do you think highly of routes that feel like the bolts are pulling you toward more difficult climbing as opposed to the bolts following weak...

Re: Suggestion Box
Thanks for the replies! It seems like pushing the length is pretty important to you guys. What do you think about Paradise Lost? Sort of a strange setup. A route that goes to the top of the cliff but has a anchor halfway. Would it be as popular with just one set of anchors at the top? What about the...

Re: Suggestion Box
Laziness and low IQ are the clear answers. I do enjoy a little self-deprecating humor. However, can you give me a little insight into your thought process about anchor placements? Feel free to chime in Pigsteak and Dustin. To be fair, it might just be my own hang-up. Beside one of the most egregiou...

Suggestion Box
What is up with the anchor placements lately? I have not bothered to single out which bolters are doing this but I would love to hear the rational behind anchor placements lately. It seems like something is going on that I can't quite understand. Here is the scenario. You climb near the end of a rou...

King Me. It has it all. It looks great. Long. Varied movement. Variety of angles. Interesting crux. Love it.
