I picked up an old pair of wool mittens and using those so far has worked out much better than fancy schmansy gloves. Old school prevails.

The only permanent gear I've come across was in Muir on Air ride equipped and Super best friends and that was a while ago, they seemed in good shape though.

Reynauds/Poor Circulation

I think I may have Reynauds because my hands and toes are constantly cold no matter how much I try to keep them warm, especially when climbing or before climbing. I stay away from caffeine when I know I'm going to be in a cold environment- which is all the time in winter. It takes me a long time to ...

Climbing gyms generally use steel carabiners which wear less quickly and the fixed equipment is checked regularly.
The only reason to not use these outside is rust, right? Not an expert by any means

it all stems from the fact that we are self absorbed useless masses of water, fart stained and delusional about how much our existence matters at the Red or any climbing area. I cringed at 5:39. I could easily break a finger doing that
