Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday! (12/11)

Would anyone like to go rock scaling tomorrow. The temps look tolerable if we can stay in the sun. I'd be psyched go do at least some trad, but could be talked into sport if necessary. Wall of Denial, Longwall, Fortress, ... other warm sunny crags?

Any takers?

Lost Dog spotted at Curbside.

FYI: We spotted the dog described in the lost dog notice (I think this was posted on the sign for either the cut-over trail to SoreHeel parking or near the Motherload parking). It was a medium sized brown dog with spots and very skiddish as described. He was in the road near Curbside. We saw him aro...

Ever wonder why you find empty bottles of this stuff in rural parking lots - and you though theses were just for crack whores.

Re: When are we going to see trad 5.15c?

Caribe, that's just like wondering if one could grow a 14in penis - perhaps, some day the right amount of nutrition, genetics and suction devices could achieve that end, but who the hell cares? I'd never want to experience such a monstrosity; it sounds about as painful as a 15c crack. Or perhpas one...

Re: true story

This conundrum is akin to 'trimmed' v. a 'landing strip' - the difference will matter to some, but at the end of the day, its all just a bunch of pussy semantics. These distinctions should only matter to those who are or can be buried knuckle deep ... or fist deep. Who knows, maybe the rules change ...

Re: Who's line is it?

one final note here and I am played out..I notice the the pure traddies suggest rapping down 7 meters to the, gasp, bolted anchors of EGBG, and then on to the ground..not sure why, but I find that comical in the finest way....no sport route anchors, what would you guys have done to get off? tia Heh...

Just clarifying. I still hold that this is a bolted crack and therefore a detriment to the climbing community.

Re: Who's line is it?

Wow, go away for an afternoon and Ive got to spend the whole damn evening catching up. First of all: Dont blame Caribe for the name, blame my late teenage years emulating 'thug life' and the Chapel Show ... the logic follows: if you bolt it, they will come, all over your face, then they will drip dr...
