Miller Fork Road
The road into Miller Fork is in pretty bad shape right now. The first hill on the way in isn't too bad but the hill by the graffiti is pretty rough. The flat portion of the road also has a few rough spots with an exposed drainage pipe and some deep mud. The photos don't really do it justice. I would...

Re: Coal Bank road
My buddy went back there on Sunday and said the road is in decent shape with the normal potholes. He has a Subaru Crosstrek I believe.

Re: Is Miguel's selling beer now and other food topics
That mexican joint down the road (La Cabana) is serving margaritas and other cocktails, as well as beer (draft and bottles). The food is also quite good; highly recommended!

Found Grigri at Solar Collector
I found a Grigri at Solar Collector yesterday 11/5. It was on the ground for most of the day and was still there at dark so I scooped it up. Let me know if it's yours and I'll get it back to you.

Re: Motherlode Hill
I saw that car counter! I'll be sure to drive over it a couple thousand times next time I'm out there.

Re: Rocktoberfest
So the only criterion for scoring points for the climbing comp is number of bolts clipped? No consideration for route difficulty or anything else?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Motherlode Hill
The road is fucked right now; the steepest portion looks like a downhill ski moguls course. Several cars had to be winched out by a truck on Saturday night. We could hear people spinning their tires up the hill all day. It was a similar situation Sunday night with several small FWD cars having diffi...

Lost stick clip - yellow w/ superclip
I seem to have lost my stickclip a little while ago. It's a yellow mr. longarm pole, 6' two section, black twist collar, with a bunch of stickers on it. It has a superclip on it with black heat shrink, and also probably black duct tape. I have no idea what crag I left it at (I suck, I know). But if ...

Re: Ropes at The Morgue & Midnight Surf
Not sure when I'll be back there, but I'll pull it down when I'm there next. Thanks for the work, very cool route!

Ropes at The Morgue & Midnight Surf
There are ropes at The Morgue and Midnight Surf that I've seen there for some time so I figured I would post photos and see if anyone wants their ropes back (probably developers).
Green rope is at the base of the crag near Coroner.
Red rope is hanging from above the cliff above Tree Hugger.

Re: crash pad under when doves cry
It is kinda sad that so many climbers don't understand basic etiquette. I couldn't agree more! Since when is it cool to stash a crash pad on forest service land? Stashing pads isn't an acceptable practice in RMNP where the approaches are significantly longer and more strenuous; why would it be acce...

Godzilla Video
Very cool video that someone sent me the other day. Nice videography with multiple angles and an incredible looking line. I don't know where it is, so don't ask me; just enjoy the footage
