I am def in favor or the gate staying closed! it would avoid areas getting trashed by campers as well and keep the creek looking good for all the work they just put into it!

Re: Mid to upper 5.10 trad lines

Might classify as the most humble post I have seen on here from someone in their 20s. Thanks man, but really climbing the red, at the new, seneca, out west, it is cool to think how were pushing hard to do some of these routes with such new gear when they were put up with damn machine bolts at times...

Mid to upper 5.10 trad lines

I just set a goal for myself to break into 5.11 trad during this coming summer. I need to work more mid to upper 5.10 trad to do as well as some winter training. Any advice on some of the nicer lines of this grade in the gorge? Any nice 11a lines I should project?

Re: Epic on Fox Fire

Sounds like you zigged when you should have zagged. Totally missed the BVD Traverse. Shoulda went left after pitch 2. Crawl the ledge around left and the rest woulda been obvious. Pitch 2 and 5 are the best ones. yes i know i was off route and know where we went wrong. I'm trying to figure out what...

Epic on Fox Fire

On Saturday March 30, my friend and I tried climbing this route. We became so off route idk what we climbed. We did the first pitch fine. We then worked right on the traverse. After the traverse we went up what seemed 5.7 face climbing. We then traversed far right by mistake and came to a nice looki...
