Favorite 13a in the gorge
What's your favorite 13a in the gorge and why? Because "I sent it quickly is not an acceptable reason."

Yellow jackets
Just wanted to let people know there is a yellow jacket nest under the rock at the base of Citizens Arête at Shady grove There are quite a few of them and they are pretty aggressive. One stung my hand while I was standing perfectly still hoping it would buzz off. Anyway.... Getting stung by multiple...

Re: Red River Gorge North guidebook ebook
If I purchase the guidebook ebook can it be loaded to two devices? I would like it on my iPad to actually read it well but would also like it on my phone to take to the crag.
Thanks

Re: Treadwall Auto-"stop" Question for Treadwall Owners/User
Ours does the same thing. In fact, I can't climb on it properly unless someone is managing the dial. It does stop for my husband but only if he is on the right side and weights his foot hard. Pretty annoying that I can't use it alone.

Re: Eric Horst books
We live in Tx right now. As a matter of fact, Pigsteak, I climb most weekends with an old friend of yours, Chris Grassi and her husband. Bill. I don't know if you could say I ever got out of "training" mode. We have been climbing non-stop pretty much since last fall. (With the exception of 4 weeks I...

Re: Eric Horst books
Thanks for all the suggestions. I've already started implementing http://onlineclimbingcoach.blogspot.com/ I was really looking for something more detailed than basic climbing training and trying to climb 5.12. These sites are a great start. I would try bill Ramsey's workout from hell but I don't ha...

Re: Eric Horst books
Yep, that was the question! Thanks for the answer. I don't feel like I need a book. In fact, I would prefer not to buy one. Do you have any links to offer up? I have been climbing for 2 decades and have never really considered myself a big "trainer" but I have plateaued and am having trouble pushing...

Just curious about Training for climbers vs Conditioning for climbers. Anyone read both? I know Eric sometimes lurks here maybe he could weigh in as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The poor rock has nothing to do with it! It's the equiper and hold manufacturer who should be shamed!
