Thought I saw something on the facebooks about MIgs having some beer options available now, but haven't checked it out personally. Never been to that mex joint, heard mixed reviews. Stopped at the BBQ place and wasn't impressed. Heard others say the ribs were good but that's about it. Also Hops Fork...
Welcome! Thanks for giving back and making an effort to be a contributing member of the community. I'm not the authority on route maintenance, so hopefully someone will chime in who can speak to this better than I. There are lots of properties and therefore property owners here so at the risk of spr...

Some of the climbs that are found in the gullies and corridors between rock walls seem to have a bit of natural AC running, and I've found them to be 10-15 degrees cooler than the main face of the wall they are adjacent to. For example, Lobster Claw and Cork Eye in the PMRP. Since that side has a lo...
anyone figure out where to park for the laurel fork climbs? Particularly Wreck it Ralph/Paw Paw park as you would for mariba fork, same approach but when you reach the creek bed, turn right and follow it for a while. Helps to have a map or proper gps since cell/data service is pretty spotty down th...
Injured finger so decided to take a hike. Went past Backside Wall and schwacked my way along the cliffline to the east, eventually finding this route. Didn't seem to match up with other route descriptions. Had fixed anchor just below the top out, on the water streak. Was curious about who establishe...

Got my dog on some tick guard meds and she hasn't gotten any, which amazes me. I've found 3-4 on myself this year, about the same with my climbing partners.
Been out to a few of these climbs... here's just a few that I happened to get some pics of. http://i.imgur.com/1CHajy0.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dqN9uDR.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NkNFn8I.jpg http://i.imgur.com/OitOh3E.jpg http://i.imgur.com/cVBy85R.jpg http://i.imgur.com/z8pih92.jpg http://i.imgur.com/uhc...
I posted it. I went and found it since I took a fall at the same spot. Didn't flail upside down like the guy in the video, as I got a great belay and was totally fine. I ended up maybe 4-5 feet off the ground, embracing my belayer. It's a tough spot to clip, but if you go past the slopers and blow i...

Some folks likely saw this posting by the Forest Service about the wildfire out on Auxier Ridge: https://www.facebook.com/danielboonenf/photos/a.1124747980873984.1073741828.1124310247584424/1504602489555196/?type=3&theater Which given the recent dry conditions, high winds, dry leaves, etc makes the ...

This would probably get much more useful views on http://www.reddit.com/r/climbing than here I agree completely! I actually posted it this morning, only to have it pulled down by the moderators because it had a link to the kickstarter. I've posted the videos there separately when they came out, and...
