Re: Which bolt has taken the most falls?

Last bolt on Ro was my guess. And I don't think Fuzzy actually gets beat up because you're TRing through the crux

What's the situation on this atm? Do you have to use their guide service to climb at Roadside?

Re: Crag with easy and hard stuff

Military Wall and Left Flank. Solid stuff at both areas for everyone in your climbing party. Same parking lot, easy access, good classic climbs for all. http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuide/?type=wall&id=6 http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuide/?type=wall&id=4 Oh duh I love both of these crag...

Crag with easy and hard stuff

Hi I'm coming over labor day. I am looking for 12c/d stuff and my friend is doing 10s and my other friend leads like 5.8 so we need a crag with a lot of grade diversity and ideally some shade. Any recommendations?

Re: cold weather crag

necro-bump: I'm looking at going to Left Flank and Chocolate Factory (particularly Gilgamesh, J-Rat, and maybe Gobstopper). Should I be in good shape Friday and Saturday?

Re: Roadside open?

So I climbed at Roadside today. There were a couple of locals there as well, in addition to some weekenders. I wasn't there for this exchange, but my parents were approaching the trail when they were stopped by some guy (they believed he was a land manager or something). Anyway, this guy was acquain...

Re: Summer shade

All 3 have good rests, including the knee bar you mentioned, before the final resistance. And all are really good. I suggest getting on the one that looks best when you see them. You won't be disappointed. Is one of them more likely to be easy to climb in the summer humidity? I think I remember rea...

Anyone going to the red from Indy on June 24, 25, or 26?

Hey all, I'm going to the Red with my dad and sister on the 27th and 28th and am looking to tack on a couple days on the front end. Is anyone planning on going down the gorge on either that Tuesday night, Wednesday, or Thursday morning? I can chip in for gas and am looking to partner up for those da...

Re: Summer shade

anyone here done Reliquary, Gung Ho, and Tissue Tiger? I want to try all three but would like to go with easiest first. For what it's worth my power is better than my enduro and I heard Reliquary had some good knee bars?

So Dustin would starting on stuff like Tissue Tiger and going to Nicoderm in the afternoon be a good option?

Re: Summer shade

The Zoo... It has a lot in your range, and some in the sisters range. Make sure you check out some of the new stuff to the left. Good luck with the humidity and heat! I've climbed some at the Zoo and I'm worried about majorly poison ivy approach. Most of the PMRP approaches don't seem as ivy-ridden...

Re: Summer shade

Thanks for the tips so far guys. Any opinions on whether Military and Left Flank will be any good then? Otherwise, I'm thinking the Dark Side --> Solar Collector option both days sounds fun.

Summer shade

Hey guys, new to the forum. I've climbed on and off at the Red for a while. I'm visiting for a few days at the end of June/beginning of July and looking to get on some low-mid 12s. I know Kentucky is hot as shit in the summer so I'm looking for my best options for shade. Also of consideration: my li...
