At the Aug. 23 meeting we can discuss this and many other issues. Gretchen is right on about the snails pace at which the FS moves. Some closures have allready happened (ie: Cindy Lou & Seuss SS @ Dip), and we should be ready for more. Till the new FS plan is offical everything seems to be on hold. ...

Thats a great crew John, I never got to climb with Hackworth, but I did go out with Kieth, and got my butt kicked!

This is an open invite to all climbers- Block and Tackle at Long Wall needs a 2nd accent. Let us know how it goes.

The main reason the bolts are on the face and not around the arete is to decrease rope drag. Also the climber should stay on the atete and not the slab to the right. I am not tall (and I do not have a long each), and I don't have any problems reaching the clips. But I am not opposed to moving some o...

The route is a Tony Reyanaldo climb. It is listed in Johns guide as an "Unknown 10b". I don't know the whole story why the hangers are gone, but they have not been there for years. He also mentions two "off route bolts in about the same location. Then there are the bolts in the cave around the corne...

there is the cave at Natural bridge park, I've seen one down from teeth buttress, one by Majors pinnicle.
But if you want good caving you should go to southern IN around Corydon.
It is one of the best areas in the country and they have the national Grotto meet in the area every year

A couple of bolts? I hope you are aware of all restriction on bolting lin the RRG before you bolt anything. First you need to know whose property you are bolting.
you can check with the RRGCC for updated info, and local ethics on bolting in the region.
