Re: rock

Needed a fix about 3 weeks ago and went to T-Wall. WOW! I had forgotten just how great that place can be in January at 65 degrees and Sunny. Definitely what the doctor ordered.

Re: Climbing Holds that bring the Gorge home

http://store.eldowalls.com/Franklin-Handholds-Frogskins-Set-p/frogskin.htm These are the closest to the Red holds. Re: Climbing Holds that bring the Gorge home

Back in the day Franklin made a Huge set of pockets, crimps and jugs that were/are the closest to the Red to date. No one makes anything that is as close as the Franklin holds were. I am sure you could find these used with an ebay search or something.

Re: climber decks, kills dog?

I am happy that the climber only has a minor physical injury and will recover. However, it sounds like it is the belayers fault that the climber decked. I have dealt with both teaching new belayers with ATC's and Gri Gri's. I have also intervened when climbers were using unsafe belay techniques and ...

Don't know the water you were near, but you definitely needed to drive further to the next bridge. It has a nice paved lot with a pit toilet. The trail goes down a short hill from the back corner of the parking lot next to the bridge. You should ask someone who has been there how to get to the wall ...
