When I am training really hard, I always drink a protein shake after a hard workout, normally with soy milk. The calories are burned up almost immediately because your metabolism is raging from the workout, but the protein stays with you and keeps you from getting super hungry and overeating. As far...

At least Jamen waited until he got back to Kentucky to rip his shorts off. They might not know what to think of that in Mass!

Thank you Charlie for your accurate account of items performed this weekend, but this still doesn't get us to the Real Truth. I am not skilled in the conversions for a shitton to metric, or bunch to cardinal numbers, and therefor having a difficult time mathematically determining the actual amount ...

I think that means you are a 5.12 climber by simple osmosis! Way to pick your roommates...

I'm mad at Terry because after climbing all day with Missy, I had to tell her that her roommate had passed. I'm mad because Sunday night, I had to stay with my friend so she wouldn't be alone in her house that she shared with him. I'm mad because as we pulled into the driveway Sunday night after mid...

I think non-climbers know it as "the gorge" because there is only one in Kentucky and climbers call it "the red" because they climb in gorges all over the place so "the gorge" would be unclear.

Vitamin I is not a pain reliever so if you didn't feel the pain, it was because of adrenaline not the pill. Don't blame the goodness of Vit I.

It sounds like you are doing static testing to the point of bolt failure. Wouldn't it be more realistic to do dynamic testing where you are stressing the bolt multiple times (with a smaller load) rather than a single large load of force? Maybe the glue-in resists a single load of force better than t...

If you guys are doing a 'no set up fee' calendar, maybe you could do more than 12 portraits and have the purchaser select the specific portraits for the 12 months that they like best. That way, people can all get exactly what they want their year to look like. Or they can order multiple calendars wi...

It was my rope they were hauling up. I don't know what they were trying to do to that girl. We had a top rope set up for a friend of mine who had never climbed but then we went to do a route on the 5.11 wall and just left the top rope up because everyone seemed to be climbing other routes. That grou...
