Re: Climbing pack suggestions needed

A friend has the Miura and I have a pack by the same manufacturer that has some design features in common, the value will outweigh the price... for a trad rack consider the 50 the top choice... Happy Holidays

Re: Fixed Gear

Maybe they should put a gate up that you have to go through to get to the official desk and use the official pen on the approved paper to fill out the form per directive that you then affix to your first draw, what could go wrong, that will surely temper the ill will of gravity...

Re: Moves for Muir at Hoosier Heights

Awesome guys, showing appreciation for the community! On a related note is there (may have just missed the announcement) a Climbers that Care Event this year? If so, that might be a great opportunity to have a donation box for TEAM SUCK as well, I will not mention any on going controversy concerning...

Re: Contact Lens

Thanks for the input, the headaches don't sound great. this was a suggestion by the doc when I told him of having to use reading glasses when wearing my contacts, for driving and the like they are great but when I want to focus up close it was a challenge. I could never really tell about if it being...

Re: Contact Lens

Maintaining tight groups whether my handgun or long gun requires practice, yes still climbing with my usual unbridled passion, and you? Aren't you a jogger or three legged race adherent now?

Contact Lens

Anyone run the contact lens scenario where you have one eye usually the dominant set-up for distance and the other for close-up (reading) ? Did it affect climbing at all? My doctor is letting me try this combo as opposed to having both lens set for distance. Usually just wear my glasses but hate the...

Re: stolen gri gri at the zoo

I'm always told that it was probably locals that stole items, surely this must be case for you as well, lots of locals drag their beer up the approach to the Zoo to drink a few brews and you know how useful a gri gri would be to the average guy. Sad that the community of climbers contains a few that...

Re: Bum Ankle

I have had ankle issues over the years that sound like some have described. My bone structure on my left ankle is quite different than my right. The boney protrusion at the ankle on my left is much more pronounced than the right which appears more " normal", does anyone else have a similar scenario?...

Re: Trad Talk... If you're in to that sort of thing...

toad's list is great, having started climbing well before sport climbing arrived we did plenty of trad in the past, my favorite was leading Vector Trouble because it seemed technical to me and had the cool finish, a favorite moment too was having John Bronough join us and send our current project at...

most approaches have an unlimited area to vomit on and thus relieve some of the previous pre-climbing day training
