You were looking in the wrong spot. The wall is left of the boneyard.

Looking Glass

What's the best guide book for North Carolina. I'm most interested in Looking Glass and Linville.

I think the real point is that their isn't enough maintenance going on. Team suck already has a back log of about 20 routes (if the site is up to date) and know people are asking them to rebolt about 17 sport lines and 32 sets of anchors. Sure we could donate the money but lets get real their just a...

Although the tree was questionable it looked ok until I started to rap down. Now yes I could have built an anchor and lowered from that...

I know you can replace bolt for bolt but how do the FS restrictions on bolts work for adding a bolted anchor to replace a rappel tree?

Yesterday I had to rap from a tree that was half dead and the roots pulled half way out of the ground when I weighted it.

Why not have a bolting day? I would gladly help replace bolts in the red but would like to have someone show me the do's and don'ts. I also don't know all of the forest service rules that go along with it. But if any one wants to re-bolt some routes I would be glad to help and pay for some gear.
