Re: Top Routes for the Grade at the RRG

I don't believe you can do a "best of the grade" in the Red for 11d, 12c or 13b. The deck is too heavily stacked at these three choke points.

Willy, good call on Tackett's route. That would for sure make my best of list.

Re: Top Routes for the Grade at the RRG

Scott, I'm saying if you send and spray off the OP's list, it will garner at least a modicum of respect. The routes I chose for my "uncool" (think the table I sat at in highschool), are all soooooooo good, but they will never let you move up to the popular table. For my money, I take the uncool list...

Dusty, for my money, Golden Shower is your best route.

Re: Top Routes for the Grade at the RRG

So the OP's list is good and talking about those climbs over pizza will give you lots of street (rhodo) cred. However, as a rebuttal, I present for your approval, my list of fantastic climbs that no visiting or primarily gym climbers will know/care about. Be warned that this list will not elevate yo...

Maybe instead of relocating the beavers, we could relocate the Wheatleys? Especially the young one.

Re: Spray direct!

This past weekend I sent Tapeworm... I was psyched, mainly because it's a sweet route and I really enjoy climbing on it... this one's for you, Dustin! :) Nice Toddrick!! Is that your first 12b?? I thought Tapeworm was 12d? Well if its been down graded I no longer want to climb it. I mean what will ...

Re: Miller Fork

So, here's the deal. When I first posted on the topic, I showed my girl friends, and she said I was being a hypocrite because I don't donate to the cc. I told her how I have in the past, with both time and money, but that now I don't donate to organizations I don't believe in. But you will climb on...

Stripping Routes

Heard Absolute Zero is gone now too, this following Tequila Sunrise a few months back.

I'm curious, were these routes seen as squeeze jobs? Badly bolted? Someone fill the old guy in.

Thanks,
