Re: Does Miguels Close for the winter?
Had to pay a $75 ticket for not putting the date on my pass. Went to court with proof that I had purchased the tag that day, and they still wouldn't toss the ticket. Was three days late on paying the fine and federal marshal came to my house to arrest me. Luckily, I was out of town and paid it onlin...

Where was the post about the other cam? Huh?
Re: Speak Up!
You're right Larry. That has to be Gallatin Canyon.
Re: Speak Up!
We've been slinging gear at every moderate line in the Red this summer and it's been awesome. Look forward to putting some work in now that the sweat factor is down. Nevermore and Jungle Beat are next on the list. I am also dead set on doing some climbing out at Half Moon. If it weren't for laying o...

Re: Bolted cracks (gasp) for gear testing
There has to be some blind trust in climbing. Take bolts as the ultimate example. I have shown a few people the ropes as far as gear climbing goes and I have never had anyone deck, or even have a piece blow. Just let us know on here when you're going to be doing all of this falling, and extensive ge...

Re: Bolted cracks (gasp) for gear testing
What fun is trad climbing without a little pants pooping? That's not a chalk bag traddies use, it's a catch bag like they use on parade horses. Why would you ever want to take a fall on purpose? Especially on anything .10 and under. Proper gear placements aren't learned by falling on them, they are ...

Re: Backcountry Camping
The ridge at the top of Eagles Nest is nice and there is some good climbing out there. You'll also be real close to Wall of Denial.

Re: ACCESS TO ROADSIDE - closed unttil further notice
Reading the responses to my last post this morning, I felt like I was on Topix. I get it--you are afraid--and we all should be. You say I'm hysterical, but ask a neutral observer to read through my posts and yours, and ask them who seems hysterical. You say I provide fodder for the Forest Service, ...

Re: ACCESS TO ROADSIDE - closed unttil further notice
I think we can chalk this whole thing up to the miss use of the grigri.
