I am sure many people will get an even bigger ego than they already have after seeing the latest climbing magazine. The article that says the Red is one of the five best crags in America. Anyone else see this.

speaking of hard climbs, whats the hardest route ever climbed in the red and who climbed it. I am assuming what ever route it is, Dave Hume did it, but I don't know.

jrvela story is correct, I was there. We busted ass out of there and went to the ten wall at the inbetween. The gun shots did not follow us and we finished a great day of climbing. It did scare the piss out of me and my group

I was there too. We got used to the shooting after a while but when we could here the bullets going through the trees within a few meters from us, we busted ass out of there. It was a little scary.

Fall project

Whats everyones fall project. What do you want to send before the winters comes. Personally I would like to send Hakuna Matata, if only the weather would clear up everytime i decide to hit the red.

I've climbed that route a few times. Doesn't seem odd to me either. I seem to remember clipping into my own draws at the anchor so my buddy could top rope it, instead of just the wire gate, but when it was time to clean i just clipped into the wire gate.
