Re: lex. climber looking for weekday partner (i'll cover gas

If you have to edit your post twice, you might as well not post anything at all. That's a general rule for online forums.

Re: Weekend Warriors!!

Definitely go to bluegrass bouldering. You'll meet plenty of people there eager to climb. Moreover, don't get discouraged by the replies to your post. A couple of months perusing this site will show you there's more sarcasm to go around. Check your PMs too.

Re: Miller Fork

Everyone of those folks do new routes because they enjoy bolting/doing new routes... well, either that or they enjoy the attention they get from being a "developer". Thanking someone for participating in a hobby that they wil...

Re: From beginner to 7A in 16 weeks

Seems like a good way, if you're not careful, to get yourself injured.

Re: Hiking Beta

Go to Auxier ridge. You can climb to the top of courthouse, and play around in other areas. The climbing is super casual but bring a rope and harness to get down of courthouse safely, especially if your wife isn't kosher with the whole free soloing/down climbing thing.

Wrist injury

So, being the clumsy fool that I am, I slipped and fell pretty hard hiking out from fortress about a week and a half ago. Ever since then, I've been experiencing pain in my left wrist. I only experience pain when I twist my wrist as if I am jamming, and it only hurts once I reach the limit of how fa...

I'm relatively new to this community and I never had the ability to meet Terry. However, after reading through these comments I can say that I have never known an individual to have such an incredible impact on a community. I can tell that his contributions to the community as a whole are things tha...

Re: Favorite Easy Trad Route?

Just do Foxfire. If you can climb 5.7 sport, you can climb foxfire. This is bad advice How? Foxfire, if the standard route is done, is not a crack climb and works well for beginners. If you can pull off jugs and plates for 60-70 feet, you can climb foxfire. The first pitch is 5.4, the second is 5.4...

Re: transverse retinacular ligament issues (middle finger jo

I had three avulsion fractures from one injury in my ankles, and they took about 3 months or so to be back to 80% strength. I'm still super careful when I hike, and my ankles are fatter than normal. They're stronger now than they were before (after nearly two years) but that's after physical therapy...
