Re: Johnny & Alex Trail Day - July 23, 2016

Is anybody making a day trip for trail day from Cinci that wants a ride down or has room in their car for one more?? Had a friend bail last minute and would prefer to not make the haul down alone. Shoot me a PM!

Re: Preparing for my first outdoor climb

Miguels is the quintessential climber campground and I would highly recommend hiring a guide if you're new to outdoor climbing and want to make the most out of your trip.

Black Diamond Epic 35L Pack For Sale

Selling my gently used BD pack that doesn't quite fit me. I believe it is a large and its just barely too big for me at 5'11 170lbs. It carries a rope and everything else you need for a day of climbing no problem. Ive had it a little over a year and taken some significant breaks from climbing during...

Re: RRGCC Toilet Input Needed

Giving everyone free trowels isn't practical and I'm sure putting in toilets would help the problem but I'm not convinced everyone would walk back to the parking lot to use them. Why not leave a trowel and some wag bags at every crag in a strategic location for the public to use?

La Sportiva Testarossas SZ 41.5

Only worn two or three times and still in like new condition. A bit too small and painful for me. Would like to get $80 and can meet in Cincinnati or at the gorge

Re: Crag with easy and hard stuff

Everything back in Coal Bank is great for a group like yours. The crossroads has two excellent 5.8's, a stellar 10d and some good 11+/12- routes. Gold Coast, Solar Collector, and Dark side also host moderates as well as loads of classic hard routes.

Couch Surfing Exchange in Louisville

Hey Louisville climbers, I currently live and work in the Red River Gorge and have a very nice cozy cabin right above the PMRP that I'd like to open my door to in exchange for a place to stay in Louisville every now and then. I work at Churchill Downs part time a long with my other job at the Red an...

I took the dumb nylon draws off the anchors without any tools last I was out there. Did you even try to unscrew the quick links by hand before you made a whole thread about it?

Re: Summer shade

Military/Left Flank are not good options in the Summer. Check the printed guidebook if you need to know when a cliff is in sun.
