Re: Gates closed and locked

I am not saying that the RRGCC has stated that access is restricted, but I do believe that not publishing directions is not "full" access. Another question. Would the RRGCC be supportive if a person posted full directions on this site or at all the climbing gyms? I am asking because a lot of people...

Re: Gates closed and locked

The RRGCC has never said that access to the PMRP or MFRP is restricted or closed. Any visitor to either property must complete a land use waiver, and you can do that here. https://www.smartwaiver.com/w/51c2134a209ee/web/ We are currently working on the Flat Holler parking area, which should be compl...

Re: Timber Harvesting in the PMRP/ Miller Fork?

The idea of selectively logging specific parts of the PMRP was discussed several years ago. Logging the PMRP was not pursued for several reasons. Most of the PMRP had been logged at some point prior to the purchase by the RRGCC. Thus, the amount of mature wood is limited. If we were to log the PMRP,...

Avoid Sore Heel Parking Lot Today

Please do not drive up to the Sore Heel parking lot today . American Natural Gas will be doing some road work near the tanks and the work will make the road impassable. To help let them do their jobs and avoid climbers having trouble, we're asking that people park at either Drive By or near the Mot...

Dyno wall Rocktoberfest 2013?

Last year the RRGCC's dyno wall was deemed unfit for use and was retired (we got 5 or 6 years out of it). Due to costs and time limits the RRGCC opted to forego building a new dyno wall in our 2012 RF event. This was met with mixed feelings from the community. We have redesigned the dyno wall which ...

In preparation, the coalition is actively seeking great volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors and is now accepting applications. We ne...

Re: Coalition Meeting

At the RRGCC Board of Directors meeting held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 an expenditure was unanimously approved to pay for repairs to the roads that access the Coal Bank Hollow and Sore Heel Hollow parking areas. This work is being made possible, in part, by a generous $3,000 donation from an an...
