Re: 1st week of march conditions?

The conditions could be amazing or complete shit. Welcome to Kentucky. Seriously, highs could be in the 70s or teens. You probably just need to check the weather about a week before and decide if it is going to be worth it or not. Tomorrow the high is single digits. I climbed 2 weeks ago in the 50s ...

Re: Visiting from Australia

Please disregard anything and everything that whoneedsfeet says! You need at least three cans of bear spray and the Nada Tunnel Toll accepts credit card.

Also completely unrelated, but I am selling a 1992 Geo Prizm with 195,000 miles, locks, windshield wipers, and other extras. Asking only $43,500.

Re: Hanging the Draws vs. Hung Draws

Last time I checked draws had weight! Unless you want to argue that weight is not a factor in climbing, then hanging the draws is definitely harder.

Lookin 4 a good time...... Tuesday 9/28 to Friday 10/3

I am off all this week and trying to find a cool partner or several to climb the RRG during the week (Tuesday-Friday). I am pretty much a 5.10 sport climber, but can hang on some 11s. I have sport gear and have never climbed Trad, but wouldn't mind following. I am down to climb whatever, wherever, a...

Re: Pull ups

I think the route definitely matters also. Overhung short routes, with big holds would definitely favor a powerful beginner, but might still be graded as difficult. As opposed to techie, long slab.

Re: Spray for non RRG routes?

Thanks guys. I didn't realize that those other sites already had this. I will say that RRC is an awesome site and it would be cool to keep all my spray in one place (most of which will be at RRG crags).

Spray for non RRG routes?

I feel like a tool for the story I am about to tell, but here goes. Yesterday a good friend invited me to go climb at Red Rocks in December. I am definitely going, if we can make the trip work. Shamefully, my first thought when he brought up the trip was that I would not be able to add those routes ...
